Session fees are set for each clinician based on their unique education, training, and experience. Upon scheduling your first session, your therapist will discuss specific fee responsibilities and payment options. If you ever have a question about fees please don't hesitate to talk to us about it.

$250+ for 50 minute individual session
$275+ for 50 minute couple, family or parent session

Helena Littman, AMFT & Nicole Chura, ACSW
$175+ for 50 minute individual, couple or family session

CANCELLATION POLICY

A minimum of 48 hours is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment otherwise you will be responsible for the fee of your session.

SESSION LOCATIONS

Our therapists offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions to California residents. We use Simple Practice, a secure HIPPA compliant platform to conduct video sessions.

PAYMENT

Cash, check and credit cards are all accepted forms of payment. Please make checks out to Celynna Romero Family Therapy Inc. We do not bill with insurance.

INSURANCE

We are not in network with any insurance plans. As out of network (OON) providers we bill clients directly for their treatment and then provide monthly superbills (similar to receipts-they are proof of your payment) to each client. Fortunately many of our clients are able to use their OON benefits to help cover the cost of therapy. This means they pay for sessions up front then submit their superbills to their insurance and receive financial reimbursement directly from their insurance.

If you have a PPO, then you you have OON coverage but the % of reimbursement for sessions depends on your specific plan.

We understand that navigating the insurance world can be quite confusing. You may be unsure about your OON benefits which makes estimating the cost of therapy difficult to predict when you are researching potential therapists. We want to make this process as easy as possible so read below to find out how we can help you verify your OON coverage and receive reimbursement for your treatment.

INSURANCE + REIMBURSIFY

We know that utilizing out-of-network (OON) benefits isn’t an easy process. Filing reimbursement claims with insurance companies can be really confusing, frustrating and time-consuming.

We are excited to announce a new, complimentary service to help our clients quickly and easily use their OON insurance benefits to receive money back for their sessions.

Reimbursify makes it quick and easy to file claims, receive payment and keep track of all prior submissions at no additional cost to you. You won’t have to deal with messy paperwork and long phone calls on hold with insurance. Just use the app or website to upload your superbill and submit the claim in seconds. Reimbursify will keep you updated on the status of your claim until you receive a reimbursement check from your insurance company based on your insurance plan.

You can either call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask your insurance directly or fill out this form and we will do the work for you. Once we have verified your benefits with insurance we will get back to you letting you know the details and you can get a better understanding of how much insurance will reimburse you.

- Does my plan provide out of network benefits for mental health services?

- What percentage of the fee does my plan cover?

-Is there an out of network deductible I have to meet prior to receiving reimbursement?

- Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered in a calendar year?
